Best robot motors

Hello everyone I just need your guys suggestions for the best robot motor. I need the motors to be really fast but at the same time it has to be specified to run at 6 - 9v. The only thing I don't understand is if I should get a fast gear motor like this, this, or this but I don't think they have enough torque for my use

( Going to be used for small robots like micromouse or blazing fast line followers the dimensions are about 10 - 16cm by 10 - 16cm)

Or maybe I thought I could use a motor without a gearbox like this which actually "okay" torque and a lot of speed.

I think that about covers it :) So what do you guys think I should use.

Of the motors you linked to

I would consider the 30:1. I doubt the others have the grunt capable of moving a bot. The bonus of the 30:1 motors is ease of switching for more torque, if you need it. Of course, you are out $32 + shipping everytime you feel you have come up short.

Slightly larger motor?

Have you seen these, or are they just a bit too big?

They draw a fair bit more current ~6A each (quite a lot for a small bot), and are $5 a piece more expensive than the microgear motors, but they do have twice as much torque at 6v, and it has an option to get it with a 48 CPR (count per rotation) encoder for another $15.

What did you have in mind for a motor driver?

Hmm…

Those motors look pretty good but are really expensive and even more expensive with the encoder. I have to think about it and as for the motor driver I’m pretty flexible anything which works is good for me:)
