I am a (junior) Moderator of the NewMars.com/forums, a part of the Mars Society. I try to encourage our members to pursue educational activities that have some connection to the Mars Settlement project. The Lynxmotion robot is (or at least appears to be) well suited for learning how to program robots. Robots are sure to be a major part of the work force on Mars.
