Introduction

ROSMASTER A1 is Yahboom’s newly launched embodied intelligent robot platform, built for ROS education, AI research, and innovation projects.
Based on an Ackerman steering chassis, it accurately replicates real vehicle motion.
With its 3D depth camera, AI voice module, LiDAR, and multifunctional ROS expansion board, ROSMASTER A1 brings human-like perception and intelligent interaction into one compact learning robot.


Yahboom newly launched ROSMASTER A1 is an embodied intelligent robot car platform designed specifically for ROS education and artificial intelligence research. Built on an Ackerman steering chassis, ROSMASTER A1 accurately replicates the steering model of smart car. It integrates peripherals such as a 3D depth camera/2MP HD camera PZT (optional), T-miniPlus LiDAR, AI intelligent voice module, and multi-function ROS robot expansion board, providing the robot with stereoscopic vision comparable to the human eye and precise environmental perception. Users can choose Raspberry Pi 5, Jetson NANO 4GB, or Jetson ORIN NANO 8G as the main control board. Developed in the ROS2 HUMBLE environment, it innovatively employs a dual-model inference architecture, ensuring a clear division of labor between decision-making and execution. It seamlessly integrates visual, voice, and text information, enabling not only precise SLAM mapping and navigation, AI visual recognition, but also human-like interaction capabilities with free dialogue interruption and dynamic feedback reasoning, meeting the needs of diverse scenarios.

【High-performance hardware configuration】

Adopts Ackerman steering chassis to realize road sign and traffic light recognition, close to actual driving, helping users develop autonomous driving technology; equipped with Nuwa-HP60C depth camera+TminiPlus lidar/SLAM C1 Lidar, using high-torque 520 motor; large-capacity battery, battery life increased by 170%, and comes with a large-capacity TF card to meet multi-tasking needs.

【Relocalization SLAM Navigation】

The upgraded SLAM with Relocalization system, high flexibility, requiring no environmental modifications. The map is stored in software, allowing for dynamic changes to tasks, paths, and destinations. It's ideal for complex, dynamic environments with frequent task changes. It also supports various AI applications such as SLAM mapping, path planning, object recognition, and target tracking.

Rosmaster A1 supports dual-model dynamic reasoning, enhanced RAG search, and free conversation interruption.   • Large language model: ROSMASTER A1 is connected to the large model platform in real time, just like a "super brain" that can not only understand text commands, but also respond flexibly.
  • Voice large model: ROSMASTER A1 is equipped with AI large model voice module and speaker, which supports real-time conversion between voice and text. After connecting to AI large model, it can "listen" and "speak" to achieve intelligent interactive experience.
  • Visual large model: ROSMASTER A1 is equipped with depth camera or HD camera, which can understand and analyze image content, accurately identify objects, and output text and voice feedback.
