Introduction

I built TrackBot a test platform for various technologies. It's easy to add sensors and servos. I'm using it to prototype the desgin of B4, a BeagleBoard based 'bot. So as soon as it is 'finished' it will get recycled, with a Beagleboard as its brain.

Test platform

  • Actuators / output devices: Servos and RP5 chassis
  • Control method: Autonomous with radio over-ride
  • CPU: ATMEGA324P
  • Power source: 6 AA cells
  • Programming language: Arduino sketch
  • Sensors / input devices: Sharp IR, ultrasonic, light sensors, wilreless
  • Target environment: indoor, Semi rough terrain.
