ShopArm: 3D Printed Collaborative Robot

The ShopArm is a project that was started several months ago and is now being crowdfunded on Kickstarter.

The design and code is entirely open-source. Every plastic part is 3D printed. The rest are off the shelf components such as nema 17 motors. We will be releasing designs and construction details later. We just wanted to share it to get some feedback.

The ShopArm can be trained as any collaborative robot, either by using its GUI, speech control, or its visual tracking system which allows it to track a maker in a hand.
