So finally i decided to make my copy of a MeArm, with all these cheap servos lying around and a 3d printer at disposal:)The video shows an almost complete, yet functional build of the meArm, with three motors instead of four.Eventually i want to make a bigger version of the arm using aluminium and beefier servos. What i found out after building it and playing with, it's that the base it's awfully unstable, which means if it moves too fast the shoulder snaps and the arm falls...To achieve better precision ...

Eventually i want to make a bigger version of the arm using aluminium and beefier servos.

What i found out after building it and playing with, it's that the base it's awfully unstable, which means if it moves too fast the shoulder snaps and the arm falls...
To achieve better precision and stability i'm going to use a stepper motor and a better axle.

The hand was really weak at first, then i swapped the servo and tuned it. Now it can hold a pencil.

I'm also going to make a small board with an arduino nano and a bluetooth module, to get some wireless android or raspberry action.
So far it powers nicely from USB ports, one for the servos and another for the arduino.
