inTouch+90degretor

Last year I made a virtual simulator as part of my Masters Degree research using Matlab’s tolboxes of VRML and Simulink for controlling the famous K-team’s Khepera II robot. The virtual simulator turns to be very popular for researchers, because was the first one implementing the Khepera II robot on a VRML environment. After that, I just decided to improve the technology I used to develop the simulator and I called ‘inTouch’’, because it control any mobile robot by touching on the screen with the mouse.

This project is about the integration of inTouch virtual simulator with the development of my own robot, called ‘’90degretor’’, because the robot will move with a morphology of 90 degrees using omniwheels, so it will not turn on its own axe, but will follow a trajectory front, rear and side by side. As I wrote on my LMR! Blog ‘From Virtual to Real’’, I always start the design of my robots on a virtual mode, now the 90degretor is under development and I hope I’ll interact with the virtual and real robots soon.
