Hexapod clone (my first bot)
This is my first real attempt at robotics.
I do have my own bot design in mind, but i decided i should start with something small.
I'm really a learn-by-example kinda guy so i bought all the components required to build a clone of this hexapod.
Took me about 4 hours to build.
I didnt build it exactly as the original builder did, because i wanted to have the option to re-use all parts for future projects.
So instead of soldering everything directly to the PCB i used jumper wires.
Instead of paperclips i used some thick electric wire for the legs.
The servos are HD-1440A micro servos.
The whole structure is kept together with hot glue.
It does not walk perfectly yet, still needs a little programming to make it walk in the right direction when it hits an object, but i consider it done :)
Walk while trying not to hit any objects
