My first bot ever, before my Botty 2. This one wanders around, and scans for places with the most light. and avoids objects. It's a very slow bot, so video is speeded up by 2.5X. Some of the pics I attached are from early building stages.

Searches for light, and at same time avoids objects.

  • Actuators / output devices: Continous modded micro 9g servos
  • CPU: arduino 328
  • Power source: 9v & 4xAA
  • Programming language: C/C++
  • Sensors / input devices: Sharp IR, Light resistors
  • Target environment: quite smooth flat surfaces
