Introduction
This is an automatic import from our previous community platform. Some things can look imperfect.

If you are the original author, please access your User Control Panel and update it.

This is a custom mobile robot base.  It will carry an addition 30lbs of payload.   The chassis is laser cut from 1/8" Aluminum and uses two Globe12VDC motors w/ HEDS Encoders. It has the following features: Arduino MEGA 2560Ardumoto Motor Driver SheildZagros Robotics Power Distribution BoardPrototying SheldBlue SMiRF bluetooth modem(2) 12vdc 7amp/hr sealed lead acid batteries.

  • Prototying Sheld
  • Blue SMiRF bluetooth modem
  • (2) 12vdc 7amp/hr sealed lead acid batteries.

 

Carry stuff around (eventually)

  • Actuators / output devices: (2) 12vdc motors with HEDS encoders
  • Control method: Android phone via Bluetooth modem
  • CPU: Arduino MEGA 2580
  • Power source: (2) 12vdc, 7 amp/hr sealed lead acid batteries
  • Target environment: indoor, paved outdoor.
