A gynoid, or fembot, is a feminine humanoid robot. Gynoids appear widely in science fiction film and art. As more realistic humanoid robot design becomes technologically possible, they are also emerging in real-life robot design.



Here is the progress of my gynoid robot project. This robot has artificial intelligence allowing it to interact with its interlocutors. It can answer any question and is able to recognize people thanks to facial recognition. He moves like a human being and will walk autonomously in the long term, thanks to his vision camera and his ultrasonic sensors which also allow him to grasp objects thanks to the 5 degrees of freedom of movement of his hands. The head and eyes are animated by RDS3235 servos, the other members by RDS 5160 servos connected to gyroscopes which give the position in 3d so that the 32Ch controller card can act in real time to maintain the standing position. The jaw servo is connected to a picotalk from Frighprops. This servo controller synchronizes an audio input with the movements of the mouth. The artificial intelligence is Braina pro from Brainasoft installed in an Intel Windows 10 mini-stick PC, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of hard drive. Since I didn't want to spend a lot of time in 3D printing, I used a plastic dummy from a clothing store that was cut out to put the servos in.
