Robot Hamster Zhu Zhu Pets from the Cepia company, is a small robot hamster which just won as 2010 toy of the year awarded by TOTY (Toy Industry Association's 2010 Toy of the Year Awards). By integrating artificial intelligence these miniature hamsters are capable of interacting with humans as well as exploring and remembering the rooms they visit in a house in a completely autonomous manner. Zhu Zhu Pets also won the first prize in a second category, innovation of the year in fun robotics. And it is no surprise that the educational toy of the year went to LEGO Mindstorms NXT 2.0.
