Walking Hexapod Lego

Posted on 08/02/2010 by vabry
The Hexapod walking robot below is a Lego NXT with 6 legs. The legs are controlled by motors on the right and on the left. The motor on the back controls the middle legs and assists in tilting it to the left or to the right. Operation example: the left-center drops, the left-side legs go up and the right-center goes up. The robot uses 3 NXT servo motors, a light sensor and an ultrasonic sensor to move. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuqeaIT8X8I See the complete photo gallery on Flickr. A creation of Gus Jansson.
