Rodney Brooks photo wikipedia Rodney Brooks, robotics professor at MIT and cofounder of the iRobot company in 1990, has received the highest distinction from SME (Society of Manufacturing Engineers). Brooks has received Honorary Membership. SME is a professional organization of engineers created in 1932 in the United States. Its head office is in Dearborn, Michigan. Rodney Brooks is now CEO of Heartland Robotics, his new company which operates in intelligent industrial robots and increasing productivity in manufacturing. He has been recognized by SME for his entire career, his commitment and his flair as a leader in engineering and the robotics industry. via prweb
