Robovie R2 Robovie R2 is a little humanoid desktop robot which has an iPod Touch in its stomach which allows instructions to be sent to it. It has a video camera, two microphones and speakers. This prototype, which should be commercialized soon, has been created by IRC (Intelligent Robotics & Communications Laboratories) in Japan. Robovie R2 measures 30 cm in height and weighs 2 kg, and is powered by 12 JR Propo DS-326 servo motors (+ 4 Vstone VS-281J servos and 2 Futaba S3102). This little robot will soon go on sale at RobotShop. While you're waiting you can follow it on its Twitter and Tumblr accounts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n0z0ZK5MEbU Robovie R2 via
