A
robotic teddy bear has been developed by the
Fujitsu Research Institute in Japan.
The prototype still has no name but could soon be used in hospitals for
psychological support and as a
companion.
The bear can recognize
patients' facial expressions thanks to its camera and responds accordingly (it has sensors all over its body).
It can carry out almost
300 different actions (laughing, crying, moving, sleeping, snoring, etc.).
