Robosphere the robot park in Switzerland

Robosphere is an amusement park project along the theme of robots in Europe. Located in the Neuchatel canton in Switzerland in Crêt-du-Locle (in the La Chaux-de-Fonds region beside Le Locle), the park should open in 2011 and attract tourists (and the general public), robot enthusiasts as well as professionals in the industry. The project is supported by the Swiss Confederation and benefits from a 560 000 euro launching budget (about 800 000 Swiss francs). At Robosphere, you can find fun areas for learning about the world of robotics, an auditorium with 200 seats, robotic amusement rides, workshops for fun learning, libraries and multimedia libraries. There'll also be a shop of robots, with regional products, robotic stands and areas for the little ones. Outside you'll find an area for remote-controlled robots (cars, helicopters, etc.) as well as green areas created for all the family. Website: www.robosphere.ch
