RoboPharma will distribute medications

Robopharma RoboPharma, a robotics technology adapted to the healthcare sector, will distribute medications in a British hospital, University Hospital of North Staffordshire. This robot who can distribute prescriptions to nurses and doctors in less than 20 seconds costs 345,000 euro. The robot which is 6 meters deep and 12 meters long looks like a large automatic medication dispenser. This type of technology is without question the future of traditional drugstores as we know them today. If you take the example of this British hospital, it distributes 1000 different types of medication each day and takes an hour to prepare one box for that particular hospital service. Robopharma will thus make it possible to save considerable time and avoid human errors as well, which sometimes have tragic consequences.
