A vacuum robot at Electrolux Design Lab 2010

Many designers are competing in the Electrolux Design Lab 2010. And, amongst all of the concepts proposed, there's one vacuum robot prototype. The general idea of this year's Electrolux competition is to design a technological specimen which can be practical in reduced spaces but is also energy-efficient (green). One of the 25 finalists, this robot has a rather special design: it looks like a robotic dog vacuum with a mini elephant's trunk! Is this what we'll soon be seeing in our homes?
