Do you mean like just the gears themselves? SDP/SI has a pretty decent selection, but they are not what most folks consider inexpensive to buy stuff from.

oh they have lots of cool stuff… they are a lot like Newark/Farnell in that aspect as well as the it’s also expensive aspect. 
You might want to check out some of the automotive parts motors. I think some windshield wiper motors use worm gears. Might be worth also checking auto electric window and electric seat adjustment motors.
