wireless PS2 controller

I have never been a real fan of wired or wireless controllers because it’s human operated. I like autonomous much better, but there might be a useful application with wireless PS2 control, so here is my question:

There needs to be a wireless receiver to accept the commands from the PS2 controller but what device is it? I did a search in the forums as well as the LM website and found nothing. I know this has been discussed before, but I can’t seem to find anything on it.

 in the case of a wireless PS2 controller it comes with the controller and plugs into the console where the wire from a wired controller would.

Ah hah!

I have never looked in to this. Thanks Eddie.

if the console doesn’t support wireless controllers natively it would be a bit much for the manufacturer of a wireless controller to sell you the controller and then say oh by the way you also need to buy the receiver that works with the controller. not saying it could not happen but… unless they marketed it with some absolutely got to have to be cool, packaged with something to ■■■■ your folks off, featured heavily on several loud violent cartoons, and other typical modern promotional things meant to disarm the common sense of the human mind… it would be a hard sell. :unamused:

ROFLMAO  You crack me up!

Mike! Here is somthing to help you “visualize” the setup.

Plug this cable…

Into this board…

Plug this receiver (included with the controller) AKA the missing link…

Throw a program into the Atom and enjoy the button pressing and joystick moving. lol…

 Ok, guys… glad I was ably to give you a few belly laughs. I can take it!
