Which screw?

What screw (size - 6-32, 8-32, 10-24) should I use to attach a HS-475HB to a SES servo bracket?

Thanks,
Duane

The supplied screws are the best choice. Failing that, a 6-32 will fit however it is difficult to get a good wrench or nut driver grip on a standard 6-32 hex nut with both screws installed because they are very close together.

Just to clarify, the included screws are M3 x 9mm, with washers and nuts. The holes are oversized to allow fine tuning of the servos position in the bracket. You can also use nylon snap rivet fasteners for the assembly. They are fast and easy, but have a little flex compared to steel hardware.

Was just wondering since, like you said, the holes are oversized. Wasn’t sure if there was something else people were using to take up some of the slack.

I’ll drive on with my project.

Thanks!
Duane

If you are building something from the SES kit without specific instructions I can see where you may be confused. It might be a good idea for you to check out some of our assembly guides to get a better feel for how the SES components go together.

When you buy the brackets you generally receive more hardware than you need to build your creation. We send more than required in case a small screw or nut falls off the table.
