What's this arm? More info?

Just wondering if you have any more pics or info on the arm shown in this header:

It looks complicated and interesting. I can’t figure out what the servo ball link rod at the back is for though.
Just interested to see what else can be done with an arm.

That looks like the Servo Erector Set (SES) Arm.

Yeah, but there’s a whole lot of extra stuff on it. That’s what I was getting at… all the mods done to the standard SES arm?

That arm has a couple changes I was working on. The first is a forearm rotation. It’s a simple mod that only requires a Low Profile Axis connected between the forearm tube and the elbow servo.

This robot arm had a counterweight connected at the base. The ball link attached the end of the elbow to the counterweight at the base of the arm. There is an image of the entire arm here on the forum somwhere… :open_mouth:
