Hi everyone!
is there a way to control a lynx6 type robot in RIOS on your PC using a PS2 controller? I assume i need one of those adapters from Playstation PS2 (not the mouse
) to USB? Has anyone done it? I remember reading something about doing it without the bot board.
Anyone?

Hello danielbriggs2,
I’m using a PS2 to USB adapter, it works perfectly with RIOS,
it’s the “Superbox 3 Pro” from maDrics, it’s recognized by the PC as a Joystick.
some other brand may works too, but it’s not tested yet.
if you plan to use a Bot board (+ a Basic Atom or a Basic Stamp) to control the SSC-32 card, you’ll need a Sony Playstation Controller Cable :

but this way, there’s no connexion with the PC…and no RIOS too, so you’ll need the program here :

Hi!
Thanks! I’ll have a look for one and order it if you highly reccomend it! A bit of a dumb question, but OK, you have hypothetically,
a copy of RIOS installed, an SSC-32 attatched with lynx6 on the end of it. A PS2-USB controller with a PS2 controller on the end of that.
What next???
Any special software?
Do you have you configure RIOS etc. with PS2 settings???
(I’m aiming to avoid the BotBord for now) - Budget!!!
