The hang out spot

@henry_bot Do you mean something like this? Arduino Uno running a RTC, SD Card Reader and Temp sensor that poles data every 5 seconds and writes it to an SD Card?

Prototyping area:

Serial Monitor Output:

SD Card File "PTDATA.TXT (read on laptop):

Data Stored on SD Card:
29%20PM

OH. MY. GOSH. Tell me your secrets!:smiley:

@henry_bot no real secrets, just something I started working on today. I still need to refine the code to create a new file every day as a backup at midnight and also attach an ESP8266 WIFI module to port the data to a website.

Yeah! Henry_bot, I’m currently working on a kind of ‘‘portal gun’’.

I’ll post it soon in the robots section :slight_smile:

@ThePhilStudio what’s a portal gun? I think the original one was a cannon…

@cbenson I wish I can say the same thing… I was on the road to work at 04:45…

Hello humans!
Working on Orion right now. I’m so hyppppppppped.
Is the vex robotics kit any good?

Vex has a lot of cool parts, the only downside I see is that their parts don’t really integrate well with other projects. Like their wheel hubs and motors have a proprietary hub and their sensors use a proprietary connector… that said, if you’re going to stay with just Vex parts, it’s a great foundation to work with.
