Ssc-32 and servocity gearbox

Hello,

I was wondering if the use of one of these gearboxes would effect the time and speed commands of the servo.

The servo’s potentiometer is replaced with one on the output shaft of the gearbox, so I’m thinking with that feedback
the time and speed commands would work.

How tight are they mechanically? Backlash and such.

Very good mechanically. Minimal backlash, but remember you’ve got more distance to move, with same electronics.
