Why would one RGB driver like for example this one neuroelec.com/hp-rgb-led-shield/
be so expensive.
What kind of power supply if I would I need if I would control 64 of these lamps?

It seems it is indeed possible. RB-Mon-02 is capable of providing ~ 1.3A per LED and the LED lamp you suggest used 4.2W @ 12V, which equates to ~ 0.35 A
Sorry Jakovn, my bad. You are right, the total current supplied by the controller is ~1.3A for all LEDs. So your lamp is a bit excessive for this board.
