RIOS Have Support For Servo "Ramping"?

Hiya,

I’m looking for control software to use with my custom / DIY robotic arm using SSC-32.

Does the Rios software support servo acceleration / deceleration etc? coz i can’t see it anywhere in the manual or screenshots.

Hi Andy,

The function was added in the RIOS 1.05 update. Link to what was changed below.

Adjustable acceleration/deceleration support (sine curve) from 0 to 100% effect.

And if you look in Chapter 6 section 5 you will see an explanation of advanced play features, one of which is the accel / decell module. :wink:

Thanks for the links, that’s what i was looking for, i guess i was looking at the old manual & guides which is why i couldnt find the feature…

I think it was you i just spoke to on the phone earlier today, so thanks again for your assistance, i think the RIOS is going to suit my needs perfectly once i’ve taken a look through the (new) manual etc.
