Recommendation on beginner controller?

Hi
Im a beginner in robotics and rc, so i need to buy myself a controller for future projects :slight_smile:
Can anyone recommend me a cheap, but still useful 6ch transmitter and reciever?

Tower hobbies, or go over to Orion, they have one.

I’m using a Futaba, not cheap, but I know it will work well for heli also…

Hitec Optic 6 is very versatile and will last you a long time:

If you only need 5 channels, you can save a lot of money:

Alternatively, consider the PS2 setup:

You’d need to do a little programming, and you would be using the BotBoarduino as a receiver, but you’d have MANY channels, have it fully programmable and of course the BotBoarduino is a normal microcontroller which you can use for future projects.
