Rc motor contrôler for a verry big boat

Hello,

I have a very large tug boat 2 meters long for 80kg.

He is powered in 24volt by 2 lead batteries of 12v 12Amp / h in series.

A brushed electric wheelchair motor.

A chain drive distributes the engine power to both propellers.

The engine was regulated, forwards and backwards, by a Graupner “MC-HYDRO 55 REVERSE”. But the latter died, after 10 years of good services.

So I replaced the MC-HYRO with a ROBBE NAVY CONTROLE 540 DE 40Amp.

But it heats up a lot.

Would you have something more powerful (in Brushed 24volt) style 60Amp or 80Amp?

Or would you have a track to another vendor or manufacturer capable of reviving my big tug?

I need something that i can Simply put in the receptor of my spektrum with forward and backward.

Sorry for my poor english

thank a lot for your attention

We have a category for brushed DC motor controllers which accept RC input: robotshop.com/en/rc-motor-controllers.html
We’re working on filters, but cannot narrow the search to only those above 50A as of yet.
Note that although few have the 3-pin RC servo cable, most have connections to make that easy.
Ex: robotshop.com/en/syren-motor-driver.html
This includes a built-in 5V BEC (providing 5V) so you don’t need a separate battery for the receiver.
You would connect this cable to the screw terminals:

Thanks a lot
