Hi - I’m in the middle of a console mod involving a PS2 controller and found this forum which made my research a lot easier. Thanks for the information.
Have a quick question about the hardware sold on the site - The mod I’m doing needs a controller input (PS2C-01 - PS Controller Cable) and an interface (ABB-01 - Mini Atom Bot Board) that can be used to decrypt the controller actions and output them to single point wires.
Are the two items I have chosen suited to my purpose?
I think it will do what you want, as far as having I/O lines toggle from buttons pressed, but the sticky wicket is the analog joystick data. Perhaps we need more information on what you need.
I’m modding a PSP to be remotely controllable by a DualShock. Proof of concept is youtube.xom/watch?v=cESVZ-b199w - Scale it across the buttons using a simple point to point and the listed hard/software and it should be fine, correct?
Does your setup emulate the whole controller and is it possible for it to dump all of its commands to 16 seperate points?
