Recently finished my Scout (also BRAT) and have done a bit of programming with the sequencer. Now I am wanting to load a routine or two into the BotBoard and am needing an overview of what’s next. I have exported the sequence to basic micro IDE. So I got that far.
Questions:
Offset for the servos non centered perfectly (HiTec digitals)?
Loading multiple routines into the IDE??
Do I need any headers or other stuff if I want to run exactly as sequenced?
Editing code and putting in IF’s and … ?
An overview of the process would be SOOOOO helpful
Let me also introduce myself to you all. I am Katarina Connors, retired and playing with robots to keep sane and I am so excited and having a blast with my BRAT, Scout and Robonova. I am intrested in programming autonomous robot function based upon sensor inputs and exploring AI.
Hope you all can Help, It would be much appreciated.
Pretty cool stuff! Oh, and your question regarding bluetooth serial control of the SSC-32. The forum post below talks about the I/O gear one and it will work with the SSC-32 with the addition of a simple jumper wire from pins 7 and 8 on the SSC-32’s DB9 connector. lynxmotion.net/viewtopic.php?t=1845
It’s the top post on the SSC-32 section of the forum.
Edit: I just opened the June issue of Servo and the Ask Mr. Roboto column is discussing the Spark Fun Bluetooth serial modems connection and use with the SSC-32. Weird…
