Problem setting motion limits on a servo - decapod using SEQ

I’m using SEQ to develop my decapod walking gait but I’ve run into a problem with one of my servos. I’ve been able to set the zeros and ROM for five of my servos. On the sixth servo, I can set the zero and the max limit but when I try to set the min limit the servo won’t reverse when I use the SEQ slider. I have to move it manually. Any ideas?

Could the servo itself be faulty? It is a 475. Usually when I have had a bad servo it doesn’t work in either direction. I tested all of my servos during construction to make sure they were centered. I’m really hoping it isn’t a bad servo as it is going to be a real pain taking this thing a part.

If the servo will move itself in only one direction it’s usually the output stage in one direction is damaged. You can verify this by moving the servo cable to a different output. If the problem follows the servo it’s the servo. My gut tells me it’s the servo. :frowning: May be easier to replace the PC board if you have spent a lot of time with wire routing etc.

Jim- thanks for the advice. I’ll try that and let you know.
