please help!

Hy!2 days ago i recived as a gift a lynx5. I managed to make the assembly of it, i made the test and all seems to be ok.I have a question:when i test the arms,wrist ,i mean when they are in stand-by i hear a sound like it is working(scuse me for my bad english-i’m from Romania).It’s something normal?
That is the first problem.The second is:please help me and learn me how i can proggram it to do something like -to grab things or…to move it.In what view of environement i can program it?

Um, well… ok. The elbow servo is doing a lot of work holding up the arm. It will make some noise. I try to make people understand that robots don’t like holding their arm out for a long time. Just like people don’t like to do this. My advise is to rest the arm in a folded up position when not in use. The L5 ships with RIOS arm control program. Do you have it? If not what did you want to use to move the arm?
