Sorry, maybe you can help me. I read some topics but I didn’t understand very well.
Now I can control my Phoenix using PS2 wireless controller but I can’t run GP player! I press X button, then SELECT, then R2 but nothing happens! Maybe there is a bug in the code? I downloaded lynxmotion.com/images/files/phoe2ps2.zip
All the other modalities work well.
Please help me!
Thanks
The question is, did you download any sequences to the SSC-32?
Kurt
Hi
I downloaded the 2.04GP Beta firmware on lynxmotion.com/Product.aspx? … #downloads
Do you mean this?
Thanks
Yes and No.
I meant to mention that in the first answer that you need to verify that your SSC-32 is setup with the appropriate firmware that allows for GP Player. Which it sounds like you have.
Next you need to have some sequences that have been downloaded into the EEPROM on your SSC-32 (Hopefully). The newer SSC-32 have one installed, the old ones have an empty socket on them to plug in an appropriate EEPROM.
There are several ways to define sequences. You could use the program SEQ for this, or you can use Zenta’s excel spreadsheet (PEP) to define them. You can read more about PEP up on the project: lynxmotion.com/images/html/proj098.htm
The nice thing about the above mentioned project is that there are some zip files with some sequences that Zenta did earlier. The tutorial up on that project shows you what you need to do to download the sequences to your SSC-32.
Alternatively you could try out my download sequences code that I wrote for my porting of the code over to the Arc32. I mention it in the thread: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=6042&start=30
In this there is a VB application that can read the sequences either from an EEPROM file or from a CSV file and talk to a program that you run on your Arc32 or probably in your case: Bap28, which will then download the sequence(s) to the SSC-32.
Good Luck
Kurt
Thank you very much
Now all is more clear!
