I get packages from USPS on saturdays. It is possible “she” used priority mail. It is much cheaper than UPS ground, or regular USPS. Sat. delivery is free with priority mail. Maybe “she” didn’t ship it out right away and sent it out a day or two late, which is why it took longer. 3 days + 1 day to process is normal for sending via priority mail. ChameleonMan needs to check the date on the package, thats all.
The package was sent by priority mail. I sent it to west virginia and it got sent back to me from texas. So it must have travelled at some point. The reason I have not posted the address I sent it to is I have not gotten permission from Jim. As soon as I hear it’s OK, I will post exactly where I sent the package. But the thing is, flash Burns told me to send the package to his work, and that’s where it got signed for. But I have his work and home info. Just give me the OK and i’ll do what you want me to.
So I searched the good old www for West Virginia Wireless and lo and behold…

Picked up the phone and dial them up. The guy who answered said he has never heard of James Williams. He has been there several months. So maybe Flash Burns did die! I’m all for saving his good name if he just plain up and died… In hindsight I should have asked for someone in personnel…
Interesting. Did you ask anything about “hager” ? Or talked to someone else higher up? If no one heard of james williams there, then he decided to not use his real name. I guess, as long as you got all your stuff back then its all good.
Is that what he used to place orders with Lynxmotion? Maybe the guy you talked to wasnt there long enough to hear of him. I’m sure if an employee died, the entire company would be aware of the death.
This is quite some story. I’m glad the stuff was returned, but the mystery still lingers on. I wonder what happened to James? Natural causes, car accident, etc…?
