Multiple bluetooths

I’m trying to wirelessly control a couple of servos, as well as a motor. I’m currently using the ssc-32, with the bluesmirf, and then using a servo channel as a remote control signal to the motor controller (the motion mind 2). If i want to send serial commands to the motor controller board wirelessly, is it enough to send this ssc-32 channel signal to the TTL in on the motor controller? if not, if i were to get another bluesmirf for the motor controller, would i need another dongle? thanks

If I am understand everything correctly, you are controlling the servos and the motor controller on the robot through the SSC-32, correct? If that is correct, then you only need the bluesmirf connected to the SSC-32 and then send all the commands to it over the Bluetooth link. Bluetooth just acts as a serial cable replacement in most cases, including this one. You should be able to send commands to the SSC-32 through Bluetooth as if it were directly connected to a PC or microcontroller serial port.

You can use multiple BlueSMiRF modems with one dongle on the PC/laptop. We varified this will work here in the shop.
