In the picture with Grant working on the robot with the LM brackets there are silver colored fingers. Does anyone know where he obtained them or how they were made ?
I would imagine he machined them.
The fingers are a wing hinge for RC airplanes. They added some metal parts to hold the pushrod in place to allow the fingers to be controlled by the rotating servo horn.

So the brass band with pop rivets on the fingers would be to join two hinges together for each finger as well as allowing for the pushrod? Very neat.
