Lynxmotion PS2 controller - problems

Hi All,
I’m trying to hard wire my Lynxmotion PS2 receiver to my hexapod, but once connected it doesn’t appear to be working correctly - could anyone help please?

I’ve connected up a ‘wired’ controller to test the connections (using the LM cable) and it all works ok - hexapod walking around etc.

When i connect up the PS2 receiver (which is now just the circuit board) and switch on - the left led (looking at the board) lights up constantly and the left led on the controller flashes, but i don’t seem to be able to pair the two.

I think the right led on the receiver should be flashing until it pairs - but this doesn’t happen.

Any ideas? Don’t think this falls into the warranty replacement dept, since i’ve stripped it down to the circuit board.

Well, we’re going to need a bit more information… A picture of your setup would be extremely helpful
