Hi, My unit does not do a full cycle without stopping a few times; then re-starting on it’s one. Sometimes the stops are a few seconds others a few minutes…anyone else experience this?

If you have purchased with us, please contact our team via the private question option and give us the order number related to this robot.
Hi @AudioVOX. was purchase from the dealer in singapore and waiting for their reply like taking a thousand years. Its will be great if you can tell me what happen to my litter robot or any parts need to be replace with. thanks again
It could be a few things, either the hall seffect sensor is defective, or the motor is too slow (either defective or the gearbox is).
You can find the hall effect sensor (which is included in the harness) here: https://www.robotshop.com/en/litter-robot-iii-open-air-wiring-harness.html
A motor here: https://www.robotshop.com/en/litter-robot-iii-open-air-motor.html
Hey @tonykit
By the sound of it, it seems like the Black Cog on the motor shaft is not properly tied up.
Please take a look at the following link, which will help you to fix that:

I’m having the same problem. Any luck?
Hi Jeaninestoop did you managed to get it back working, i have same problem, tried everything, nothing works!
Hi. Our LRIII has worked great for the past few months. The other day, we had a short power outage, and now the orange light is on solid. Pressing “cycle” causes a normal cleaning cycle, pressing “reset” causes the blue light to flash very breifly then return to solid orange, pressing “empty” causes a normal empty cycle. I removed the bonnet and globe and cleaned the unit, then reassembled, but it does the same thing. The night light function seems to operate properly. Are there any other tests that I can do to further trouble shoot this problem? Thanks for any help you can provide.
Description: I received my litter robot on January 7 2020. I plugged it in but kept it turned off for the first few days and would manually run the clean cycle because my cat was just under the weight required to make the product function properly. As soon as my cat passed the required weight I turned it on and noticed that the blue light was flashing and the app told me the litter bin was full. It didn’t look completely full to me but I replaced the bag anyways (following the instructions for replacing a bag from litter robots YouTube video). Once the bag was replaced, I pressed reset and tried to reset the app but neither would make the blue light go away. The cycle button no longer works. Now when I need the litter box cleaned I have to press reset. If left on the litter robot will run a few cycles automatically after my cat uses it but eventually the app will tell me that it will no longer run cycles. The app also continues to tell me the litter bin is full even though it has been emptied multiple times. I can’t understand how a brand new unit for which I spent $800 can malfunction this way. Please have someone get back to me on how I can fix this ASAP because the $800 litter box is basically functioning the same as a $10 one. Thank you.
We just got two of them and both of them are leaking out the back as well.
One of our three cats aims a little high when he is peeing, but I was just expecting to need to clean out the inside of the globes more. Instead I’ve found a disgusting surprise under both units.

Hi,
I have the same problem, the reset button light will keep on blinking and no cycle will be started (not even if I push the cycle button). I already tried the troubleshooting steps below, but can’t get the problem to go away. Any ideas on what to do?
1.) Leave your unit powered ON with the blue blinking light engaged & Unplug your power supply from the base 2.) Wait 10 seconds then plug the unit back in
3.) Allow the unit to complete a start‐up cycle. If the light is solid blue, the code has been successfully cleared. If the light is still blinking, let’s proceed with troubleshooting. Let’s empty the drawer if it has waste and reinstall the bag before proceeding.
Note: If you are using a dark colored bag, always tuck it into the tabs.
