The robot doesn’t seem to autocycle anymore so I have to manually press the cycle button.
When I was using the old Litter-Robot app, the DFI didn’t seem to be working properly. Now that I’m using the Whiskers app, it seems to be working again.
Do you receive a blue blinking light after each cycle then press the “Reset” button to set it back to solid blue then press “Cycle” to start the cycle manually?
If yes, then you need to clean the 2 green circuit boards and the 2 plastic brackets of the DFI sensor using isopropyl alcohol and a Q-Tip to remove any rust or dust from them.
Hello,
I proceed to press the cycle and empty buttons for a few seconds and the power button turns solid blue. The LR functions although as it should but after 5-7 minutes the status will be offline on the app. LR status will come back to Ready status when Cat sensor Timing is detected.
Please try the following: Perform a hard reset on your Litter-Robot: Unplug the unit from the back of the base, wait 1 minute, then plug it back in and allow it to cycle. Check the app – if it still shows offline, please move on to the next step.
Please make sure you are using the latest version of the app.
Reboot your router. If the app still shows offline, please try moving your router and unit closer together.
Press on “Empty” and “Cycle” simultaneously, and please let us know if the power light turns red or blue.
Unfortunately this is disconnecting a lot from WiFi and when it does, it does not rotate automatically, which is kind of weird to be since I don’t see any relation between being or not connected to the fact that the sensors should detect the cats inside.
I have two cats, one weights close to 10Kg (it’s a Main Coon) and the other close to 5Kg (it’s a British Shortair).
Can this have a firmware update to stop having these issues?
Thank you for your very quick answer. We bought this to someone else.
There are no blinking lights and in the APP it only shows as offline, nothing else. Our wifi is very stable (I have dozens of IoT devices and cameras here and they all work perfectly).
Right now, at this precise moment, all is working good and the robot do show online, but then all of a sudden this will randomly disconnect wifi and not rotate again.
No, nothing at all. Light on the robot is green (even after a cat goes into the robot, which shouldn’t happen as in that case it was suppose to be red) and in the APP history there’s no errors.
