I’m starting to assemble parts for a simple 7th grade robot. I have most of what I need but can’t seem to locate a power source and switch/controller set up. The robot will have two DC motors with D shafts working independant of each other. Basically need controls for simply forward and reverse. Any help greatly appreciated.

In order to choose a motor controller, you need to take into account the motor’s specs. You mentioned you want independent control of two motors so you’ll need a two-channel motor controller. Also, how do you plan to control it? A remote control? A microcontroller?
