Itead nx8048t050_11 "model does not match"

Hi,

As subject, I bought two Nextion Itead displays, model NX8048T050_11,[font=Open Sans, sans-serif][size=4][highlight=#ffffff] [/highlight][/size][/font]a couple of months ago.
[highlight=#ffffff][font=Open Sans, sans-serif][/font][/highlight]
They worked like a charm, until today, when one of them suddenly showed this error on power up:

Model does not match
Device Model:
JX8048T050_11R

I tried uploading a sketch with SD card and with Nextion commands “connect” & “whmi-wri”, no luck, still that error.

I contacted Nextion support, still no luck, they don’t want to provide support for a product bought on an external shop, “to care for his selling is his duty, not ours” (these their words).

Someone has a solution ?

Usually they should be able to help you out, how or where did you contact them ?

They were probably in Chinese New Year holiday but that’s usually ending today.

I contacted them on Monday 26th, both on nextion.itead.cc/support.

You can find attached a snapshot of their answer ( I am “Gab Pun”, I was answered by a technician named “Gerry”), as I told before they don’t want to provide any kind of support.

There’s something I can do ?
