Issues getting PS2 Wireless Control v2 to work with Brat Bip

I just purchased a Brat Biped with bot board II and basic atom pro. I have loaded several autonomous programs and have enjoyed it. Now I am trying to get my PS2 control to work with it. I have followed the PS2 Biped BRAT Tutorial at lynxmotion.com/images/html/build155.htm perfectly yet the control does not seem to pair up with the reciever. When I turn on the Brat, the 2 red lights on reciever both light up and the speaker beeps continuously. I then turn on the controller, both the red and green lights (analog, negcon) blink continuously for about a minute.

Is there any other methods to check the functionality of the reciever and/or controller? I do not have a PS2 system. I have verified that the jumpers are set properly.

I wonder if LynxMotion will replace my PS2 Controller kit if I send it back. I feel that it must be either the controller or the reciever. I have had the Brat doing several autonomous routines.

If you are using the controller with red and green lights you should have no issues connecting it to 5V logic. However, you might need to get a level shifter if you are not able to get the controller and the receiver to pair lynxmotion.com/p-870-ps2-wir … ifter.aspx

You micght also be able to exchange your controller for a v2 controller if you send us a ticket to our support centre: robotshop.helpserve.com/
