Anyone know what is happening or how I can fix it?

Cheers,

Yea.

I have a dual core AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ @ 2.6GHz, 2GB of DDR2-800 ram, and a x1950pro video card. My system specs far exceed the requirements.

Try Contacting google, maybe they can help.

Watha! You ever try contacting anyone from google! roflmao

Probably doesn’t help, but I have v5.0.295 (beta?) installed, with no problems. I noticed that when you go through the start menu to run the program, there’s also a “Uninstall or Repair” menu item. Might want to look into this “Repair” bit.

You can try checking in the SketchUp Help Center.

There’s also a Google SketchUp Community that might help.

Not really,I’ve never really had any problems with anything.

Not to mention I cant even find a single “Contact Us” link on any of google’s sites/pages.

I had Sketchup v5 too before and it worked fine on my old P4. I downloaded v5 but it also gives the same thing. I tried repairing/modifying it and it didnt work. I tried reinstalling it and it didnt work. I tried downloading from a different mirror and it didnt work :frowning:

I tried to get Sketchup PRO 6 demo but that didnt work. However, the LayOut program worked fine. I also tried to reinstall .net 1.1 and it doesn’t work still.

I guess i’ll try to post on the community.

Thanks!

Like i said,I am not having any problems with Sketchup 6,so it has to be your computer thats giving you the problems, are all the latest video drivers ect. installed on your system?

This has nothing to do with it. It maybe that when he downloaded the program it was somewhat corrupt on their website. This maybe something sketchup has to fix.

What OS do you have it running on? Earlier I had problems getting it to run on VISTA. It ran fine on my desktop machine, but I had problems trying to install it on my wifes portable.

My guess was a incompatability of display driver or OpenGL. Of course when I installed it, they said they did not support vista yet…

You can’t tell what OS I’m running based on my wallpaper and colors? Its Windows XP Pro.

My video card supports OpenGL.

It looks to me like your Display adaptor is not rendering right. Best thing to do is update your Graphics card drivers to the latest version.

Many times this will fix problems like this.

EDIT>>

Looks like Kurte said the same thing. Oh well…

I said it too

No you didnt wowy. All you said is it works for you :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyhow, I posted on the google group and got some help. I disabled hardware acceleration and it works fine. All graphics are now handled by my processor rather than video card. Turns out something is wrong with it :frowning: Oh well. Program isn’t very laggy. After I started making models in sketchup now… I realized I forgot how to make models so jared will make them for me ^^;;

Thanks for the help guys. When I get more time I will try to sort out why my GPU was rendering it wrong.

do you ever read my post’s?
