For the love of HOT GLUE!

It's GLUE that is HOT! And when cooled it sticks to anything.  With both high and low temp flavors plus several different caliber guns there's something for everyone!

Besides sticking things together it has many other uses.

Recently I needed a bushing that required some "grip" inside a bore. The inside diameter of the spool that the bushing went into was irregular and the 2 holes in either side of the spool were slightly different diameters.

Hot glue to the rescue!

A few hot glue grippers saved the day!

Ever need some little rubber feet for a project box r something? Does your project still wobble a bit even after you apply those store bought grippers?

Hot glue again!

Put some dabs of oil on a sheet of glass, glob some hot glue on the bottom of your part and:...

Leveling feet!  Hot glue even saved this near failed print!

//

Just don't flip it over...

And yes HOT GLUE will waterproof your projects as shown in the video!  I tested waterproofing LEDs in the aquarium for a couple of months without failure! Early testing with aluminum didn't go so well :|

If anyone else has some HOT GLUE tips or tricks please post them here!

public enemy #1 of the hot glue republic

Use of hot glue is simply a predictor of a failed design or lack of craftmanship. Hot glue gun = botch gun. But what other answer you would await from the public enemy #1 of the hot glue republic
