Hello, I’m looking to control 16 different lights via SSC-32 and a bunch of relays.
I’ve currently bought 4 PicoSwitch relays but this method is proving to be too expensive and messy. Although I do like how compact they are.
But anyway, I’ve decided that it would be better to purchase a board and just daisy-chain 120volts from relay to relay. I came across the following board: dx.com/p/arduino-compatible-16-c … ite-143789
I wanted to ask if I can use that board with the SSC-32 and if not does anyone know of a relatively inexpensive one that I can use with it?
I know the SSC-32 can output 5volts through its connectors but I’m not sure how this board works.
DX has some great prices, but total lack of documentation and quality control - and the delays can be up to 2 months.
In this case, the board says it’s “Arduino compatible”, so perhaps the 3-pin connectors at the bottom of the board are:
5V, GND, Signal (digital?). The screw terminal on one side is mounted incorrectly according to the photo - the terminals are facing inwards. The SSC-32 can produce HIGH / LOW signals so in theory it should be compatible.
