Delay time problem

Hi,

Is there anyone know what it the time delay from sending the command from pc to ssc32 until the servo actual move? I am controlling 7 servos at once and my serial cable is about 4 ft long.

Here is the manual for the SSC-32.

While the delay for acting on a move command isn’t specified, I would expect it to be 20mS or less, the same as the delay associated with setting an output to a high or low state. The length of the cable is not important. If speed is important then make sure the servos are all connected to the same bank, 0-7, 8-15, 16-23, 24-31.
