doz any one have power pod that will work with the v1 bord? i have tryed the earleys version posted but it still wont work.
PowerPod will work with any SSC-32 version ever made. The firmware changes only effected extra features, not the core command set. Why don’t we discuss what sort of problem you are having?
no connection is being made to the board that has power and connect to com 5
Do you have the ability to post a few jpgs?
Does the green LED come on with nothing connected except power?
If so does it ever go out when connected to the PC?
Are the two jumpers installed by the DB9 connector? If so are they vertically aligned (when you can read SSC-32).

Images can be posted here and they just display on the screen. No need for a zip file. Don’t really need a video anyway. Because the LED never goes out it means the SSC-32 is not receiving any data. I’m simply asking you if a couple jumpers are installed on the board by the DB9 connector. How can you not know?
bd-9 connector what doz it look like? this bot was given to me with no instruction and was not assemble i you’d the guides on this site to put it to gather im a beginner is it he conner that comes from the servos?
Ahhh now we can do something. The top picture is of the DB9 connector and cable. The last picture shows the problem. The cable that has the yellow and black wires on the bottom left of the picture. Remove it from the Bot Board II and install two jumpers above TX and RX. These jumpers enable the DB9 serial connector.
This is where the information for the SSC-32 is kept. It will be helpful.
it connects but do sent connect when i click the connect button for 1 second every things lights up and thin goes back to saying not connected still. i have unplugged every thing from the bored and put power to it and thin conned it to com 5 same thing.
Install both baud rate jumpers so the SSC-32 is at 115.2k. That will fix it.
wood powering off 1 9v battery not work is that the problem?
found the problem there is a short in that board, my friend came over and hocked up this blank board and a 9v batter and i had connection…
Sorry, but that’s not really an error. That’s just telling you that you have the older version of the SSC-32. The older version does not support registers. Just use the program normally and it will generate code that will have the offsets included. There is no need to use the “Read” or “Write” buttons.
