For the Crazy2Fly quadcopter, can I successfully use Spektrum DX5e 5ch Radio as a controller? Or would the Hitec 7Ch RC Radio be compatible and allow me more options in the future?
Any other controller recommendations?

Hi branchstonerobotics,
The choice of Transmitter/Receiver is more linked to the Flight Controller choice.
MultiWii flight controller need a transmitter with adjustable “End Point” on all channel and that is available only on programmable Transmitter.
A higher end Transmitter will also allow you to have multiple “Model” stored inside it’s memory so you don’t have to re-trim your “Model” each time when switching.
So, for the Crazy2Fly quadcopter, can I successfully use Spektrum DX5e 5ch?
Again, all depends on flight controller.
You are looking at our “Crazy2Fly Lynxmotion (Kit de Base + Contrôleur MultiWii)” …?
If yes, the flight controller is a MultiWii and will not work with DX5i.
there are ways to make it work but not optimal, you will loose some features.
Yes, I am buying Crazy2Fly QuadCopter (T-Motor Combo Kit + MultiWii Flight Controller). What 5 channel remote control that allows End Points do you sell that I can use with it?
This is the first time I am building a drone so please be specific in layman’s terms.

The both have “End Point” settings so you will be fine with MultiWii flight controller.
I am impressed with Crazy2fly and would appreciate if you can point me to some references to start using Crazy2fly.
A bit of myself, no experience in RC but have basic electrical knowledge and have interest to learn to use Crazy2fly.
